Amy Lou Adams, full name Amy Lou Adams (born 20 August 1974 in Aviano Italy), American actress. She is known as a naive character who are charming and beloved by the critics. Adams was born to an U.S. Army officer in Italy and then grew up in Castle Rock Colorado. Around the middle of 1990, she began singing and dancing professionally at Boulder's Dinner Theatre in Colorado and Country Dinner Playhouse. Then she moved to Minnesota where she was a cast member in Drop Dead Gorgeous, a mock documentary about beauty contests. The film was a success and she became a screen star as a ditzy but good-natured contestant, she relocating into Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. The couple also had children Kelly Curtis, Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh was spotted by actress Norma Shearer Leigh signed a deal with MGM to start her career as a movie star in the late 1940s. Through the years that followed, she appeared in many film productions, such as Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960), and Living It Up by Martin Lewis and Martin Lewis (a 1954 film).
