Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
My child played around in the playpen as I sat for 12 hours, sanding the floor as well as removing the wallpaper. Ha! The whole thing was beginning to come together but there was still a long way to go. It would take the time, energy, and of course my favourite shopping experience to furnish this house. To stay within the budget, I started going with my boys to estate sales in search of diamonds. Our routine for the week was to walk from Thursday through Saturday through garage sales to purchase a mix of old and new pieces while I spent the weekdays painting sanding in the driveway. What I saw looked something similar to... that's when my passion to restore furniture began. No matter what, the home was equipped. I also had a booth at the market where I sold objects. There were lots of pieces, I didn't think of a solution and outgrew the space. I held open houses at my residence where 1 thousand people would visit during a weekend. they could purchase anything on the ground level. Growing Days is the result of all this. Growing Days wasn't just a thriving business but as well my family. It was a balance between starting a business and becoming a mother. Growing Days seemed like the best fit. Nora came into our lives in 2013 as our 4th baby. It was a great direction for my business but I also needed a vacation. I took some time away from the old furniture in order to spend more quality time with my kids. In the beginning, this was the ideal thing to do. It wasn't until a couple of months when the phones began to call. Calls came in asking me to help them with the interior design and renovations of their home. It was mostly those who came to my open residence to buy furniture. The time flew by before I had a fully-fledged house renovation business. I began by taking clients with a speed I was confident in. If you'd told me that my business would be an idea for the DIY Network show, I would probably have been astonished. As I think about the circumstances and think about it, I laugh.
