Decker felt unhappy with two more singles from the album, challenged the executives of the record label for more influence. Decker then released her second single Boys in the Summer which is more traditional. The second album of Decker, dubbed as Daughter of a Gypsy and Sweet American Dreams by Mercury Records was shelved following Mercury was disappointed by the performance of three of Decker's singles on the country charts.
